DUTCH test / initial consultation + test kit + analysis + post-test consultation + personalised health plan
This is for you if you want to dive deeper into your hormones to help to uncover the underlying causes of your hormone imbalances. The DUTCH test is the gold standard of hormone testing around the world and provides a deep understanding of reproductive hormones as well as cortisol and melatonin and more (see below). Not only does it provide hormone levels but it shows us how you are using and metabolising those hormones, which is important in getting to the root cause of symptoms.
This package includes the test plus an initial consultation, test analysis, post-test consultation and a personalised health plan.
Before our initial appointment you will complete a health questionnaire and food diary. We will have an initial consultation to explore your symptoms in detail. Following the consultation you will undertake the test and when the results are returned I will analyse the results and create a personalised health plan for you. We will then have a second consultation where I will walk you through your results and your plan.
This option does not include ongoing support, but you are welcome to convert onto the 6 week plan at any time afterwards (within 12 months of your initial consultation) if you feel like you need additional support (£199 will be redeemable against the 6 week plan to cover the cost of the initial consultation and nutrition plan).
What's included?
Health & lifestyle questionnaire and food diary to complete
45 min initial consultation
DUTCH test
Test analysis
1 hour consultation to go over results and plan
Personalised nutrition & lifestyle plan
Supplement plan (if necessary)
Discounts on supplements
How does the DUTCH test work?
The DUTCH test is a dried urine test. Over 24 hours you will collect small urine samples on the test paper, allow it to dry and then
Is this test for me?
Consider DUTCH Complete to identify the root causes of sex hormone and adrenal imbalances. It provides insights into conditions like PMS, PMDD, PCOS, perimenopause, menopause, infertility, weight gain, fatigue, low libido, sleep issues and mood disorders. It also offers baseline measurements for hormone replacement therapy administration and monitoring for you to take to your doctor.
What hormones are included in the DUTCH test?
The DUTCH Complete test evaluates 35 sex and adrenal hormones, including estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, and cortisol, with metabolites. It also measures daily free cortisol and cortisone patterns, 8-OHdG, melatonin, and nine organic acids, including markers for B12, B6, biotin, glutathione, dopamine, norepinephrine/epinephrine, neuroinflammation, and tryptophan putrefaction, offering insights into hormonal and metabolic health.
How long does the test take?
The DUTCH test should be done 5-7 days after ovulation (this is usually on days 19, 20, 21 or 22 of the menstrual cycle if your cycle is 28 days long). If you have shorter, longer or irregular cycles then I will help you to work out the best days to take it. You will do 4 or 5 tests over a 24 hour period at set times. The results are usually available in 7-10 Business days (excludes transit). We will then aim to have your second consultation around a week after the results have been returned.
I don’t have a menstrual cycle, can I still do the DUTCH test?
Yes - if you are post-menopause then you can take the test on any day of the month. If you are perimenopause and have very irregular/very long cycles then we can test for ovulation to find the best day to take the test, or we can consider doing the cycle mapping test which tests at different times throughout the month.
Cancellation policy: Clients will receive a full refund if their consultation or plan is cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Any appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time will incur a fee of £50.
